The Country Music Association's popular international artist-focused touring series, Introducing Nashville, will bring dynamic Nashville artists Abby Anderson, Niko Moon, Cassadee Pope and Mitchell Tenpenny to the Pacific Rim in March. This Introducing Nashville lineup will visit multiple cities in Australia before stopping in Auckland, New Zealand and Tokyo, Japan. Black River Entertainment's president and CEO Gordon Kerr announces the signing of country duo, Pryor & Lee. Comprised of Pryor Baird and Kaleb Lee, the pair is set to hit the road March 1 in Fontana, CA on their 'Country's Back' tour. Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, January 31 at 10 am local time (full list below).

Today, CMT revealed the 17 artists to watch in its much-anticipated 2020 LISTEN UP campaign, which recognizes and supports country music's most promising newcomers across CMT platforms. The year-long initiative raises awareness for new artists via support for their music and videos across CMT and CMT Music channels, CMT Hot 20 Countdown, CMT.com and @CMT social media channels, in addition to company-wide opportunities including live events and the ViacomCBS' Times Square NYC Billboard. 

Today, CMT announced that it will institute 50/50 video airplay for female artists on both CMT and CMT Music channels, effective immediately. The news was shared this morning by @CMT on Twitter. See the tweet below! Out of the full 29-hour primetime video hours across platforms, female are guaranteed to account for half, an increase from the 40/60 ratio.

Today, the Iowa-born, Nashville-based singer and songwriter Hailey Whitters announced her highly anticipated new album The Dream will be released on February 28, 2020. The announcement follows Whitters' banner 2019 touring with Maren Morris, Brent Cobb, and Lori McKenna (who co-wrote three songs on The Dream), along with being named one of SiriusXM and Pandora's Artists To Watch 2020 and her single 'Ten Year Town' landing at #2 on Rolling Stone's '25 Best Country and Americana Songs of 2019' list.

Today Tanya Tucker unveils a special version of her multi-GRAMMY nominated song “Bring My Flowers Now” (Live from the Troubadour). This live version (written by Tanya, Brandi Carlile and Tim and Phil Hanseroth) was recorded during Tanya's triumphant two-night stand at the legendary L.A. club this past October.

Today, CMT-awarded and GRAMMY®-nominated music icon and original female outlaw Tanya Tucker, whose critically acclaimed album While I'm Livin' landed at No. 1 on Rolling Stone's 40 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2019, revealed the 2020 tour dates for the 'CMT Next Women of Country: Bring My Flowers Now Tour.' Kaleb Lee has built a great relationship with superstar Kelly Clarkson and today their collaboration on “I Dream In Southern” is available. The tune, written by award winning songwriters Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne and Brandy Clark, is an ode to all things southern including “blue jeans, back porches, cotton fields, mason jars, fireflies” and countless other things.  Clarkson sent the song to Lee after he finished in the Top 6 on Team Kelly on Season 14 of The Voice. He joined the superstar at her Meaning of Life tour earlier this year in Duluth, GA where he performed the tune. Clarkson loved it so much she lent her vocals to the track. 

The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series will return to Belfast in Northern Ireland, and London this March with performances at Panarts Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival Wednesday, March, 11 at The Empire Music Hall and Country to Country Festival, London on Thursday, March 12, at indigo at The O2.

Today CMT revealed that GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter and performer Brandi Carlile will be honored with the 2019 CMT Next Women of Country “Impact Award” at this year's celebration recognizing the next class of rising female country stars. The 7th annual celebration, co-hosted by Martina McBride and CMT's Leslie Fram will take place in Nashville on November 12 at the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum.

The Country Music Association's acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance in Albuquerque at KiMo Theatre Tuesday, Oct. 15 featuring Lauren Alaina, Erin Enderlin, Sierra Hull and Luke Laird. The series hosts an intimate round of performances with some of Country Music's top songwriters taking turns sharing the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. Tickets for the performance are $15 and go on sale Friday, Sept. 20 at 11:00 AM/CT (10:00 AM/MT) through the KiMo Theatre website and CMA Songwriters Series website. $1 of each ticket sold will benefit the CMA Foundation, CMA's philanthropic arm, which is committed to investing in high quality music education programs for all students in the United States.

On September 13, Hailey Whitters will release The Days, the first half of her highly anticipated full-length album The Dream that will be released next year. The six song collection will feature three previously released tracks, including 'The Days' and 'Ten Year Town,' and three new songs. Starting tomorrow, Whitters will hit the road supporting Maren Morris on her GIRL: THE WORLD TOUR which will make stops in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville and more. The Country Music Association visited Charlotte Wednesday, Aug. 7 with Russell Dickerson, Lindsay Ell, Jordan Reynolds and Frank Rogers. During the trip, the songwriters met with band students from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools as part of U.S. Bank's Community Possible giving and engagement platform and its Places to Play partnership with the CMA Foundation, followed by a CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank performance at the McGlohon Theater.
