Vineyard Theatre Announces Schedule Change for LESSONS IN SURVIVAL

Vineyard Theatre has announced a schedule change for Lessons In Survival. To provide more time for single ticket buyers to view performances and to better connect Sunday Community Conversation events and performances, the schedule for the remaining three weeks of programming has been adjusted slightly.

Roy Firestone Brings His ONE MAN SHOW To Jewish Family Services Of The Desert For One Very Special Performance, Sunday, November 17 at 3:00 pm at the UC Riverside Palm Desert Campus. Critically acclaimed as a performer, monologist, humorist, musician and impressionist, Roy Firestone, the seven-time Emmy® Award and seven-time Cable ACE Award winner, has performed in more than 2,000 venues spanning over two decades. He has shared the stage with performers  Josh Groban, Reba McEntire, David Foster, Forest Whitaker, and Bon Jovi. As an actor, Firestone was featured in the Academy Award-winning film Jerry Maguire, where he played himself in an unforgettable and often repeated scene with Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. I had the opportunity to catch up with Mr. Firestone as he was preparing for his desert performance. The Madison Square Garden Company (NYSE: MSG) and the Garden of Dreams Foundation announced today that comedian Iliza Shlesinger has joined the lineup of Garden of Laughs, presented by Delta Air Lines. Shlesinger joins a celebrated lineup that will include performances by Jerry Seinfeld along withBill Burr, Michael Che, John Mulaney, Brian Regan and Jon Stewart. The 2019 Garden of Laughs will be hosted by Steve Schirripa and will take place at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 8:00 p.m., with all net proceeds going directly to Garden of Dreams. Tickets are on sale now.

IFC today announced details and guest stars for Season 3 of Brockmire, the critically acclaimed comedy series starring Hank Azaria as Jim Brockmire, the garrulous, recently-sober baseball announcer who's climbing his way back to the major leagues. Produced by Funny or Die, Brockmire is currently in production in Atlanta and will return to IFC in spring 2019 with eight all-new episodes.
