The bestselling children’s author David Walliams and the award-winning Birmingham Stage Company have teamed up for a brand-new tour of their hit West End production of Billionaire Boy. This is their third collaboration after the Olivier Award nominated Gangsta Granny and acclaimed Awful Auntie productions.

Birmingham Stage Company today announces the cast for Horrible Histories - Terrible Tudors which make its West End premiere at the Garrick Theatre this summer as part of the company's 30th anniversary programme. Birmingham Stage Company's Neal Foster directs Benedict Martin and Emma Swan.

Shakespeare in the Squares today announces the full cast for their fifth anniversary production of Shakespeare's The Tempest. Sioned Jones directs Mark Carlisle, Laura Gomez Garcia, Indigo Griffiths, Phyllis Ho, Ellis Kerkhoven, William Shackleton, Wilf Walsworth and Sasha Wilson.

The Belgrade Theatre has announced the first shows in its Autumn / Winter 2022 season, with highlights including West End musical smash hits SIX, The Rocky Horror Show and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, brand new musical Bombay Superstar, classic drama An Inspector Calls and The Mousetrap, as well as Malorie Blackman's Noughts & Crosses.

Birmingham Stage Company today announces Horrible Histories - Terrible Tudors will make its West End première at the Garrick Theatre this summer. The show opens on 2 August, with previews from 28 July and runs until 2 September.

This season, the Belgrade Theatre hosts a fantastic range of shows for children of all ages. English Touring Theatre today announces that Peter Holland joins the company as Producer, having most recently worked as the producer at Frantic Assembly. He takes up the role from January 2022. He joins the organisation alongside Richard Twyman, Artistic Director & Sophie Scull, Executive Producer.

Nottingham Playhouse has announced that its production of Jack and the Beanstalk will go ahead this year and has revealed the members of its two-hander cast.

Birmingham Stage Company today announce further London tour dates for its run of Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain. Joining the previously announced run at the Troubadour Meridian Water in North London between 19 August a?" 23 August, the production will also run in South London at The Turbine Theatre, as part of their open-air 'On The Jetty' season between 26 a?" 29 August.

Birmingham Stage Company presents Billionaire Boy at Bloomsbury Theatre as part of the previously announced UK tour. The production sees the company renew its collaboration with bestselling children's author David Walliams, following the stage adaptations of Awful Auntie and the Olivier Award nominated Gangsta Granny. Billionaire Boy opens at Bloomsbury Theatre on 13 December and runs until 5 January as part of a UK tour.
