It has been a long time coming, but this spring The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will welcome the musical Hello, Dolly! to its stage. 

Following a tumultuous year and a half for the theatre industry due to the worldwide Covid-19 Pandemic, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is preparing to open its new 2022 Season in January with one of the installments of Dan Goggin's hilarious Nunsense Series. 

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, once again, has a full line-up of entertainment for the holiday season.  Along with its Mainstage production of That Christmas Spirit, Way Off Broadway's Family Theatre will be presenting its stage adaptation 'Twas the Night Before for a limited holiday run beginning with a special evening performance on Friday, December 3rd. 

Following the tumult of the last year and a half, and schedules which have been forced to change numerous times due to the Pandemic, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is preparing to look to the future with the announcement of its 2022 Season.

For summer of 2021 The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will present the most anticipated show of the 2020 Season!  

As The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's production of Ruthless! The Musical takes to the stage this spring, the show reunites its leading “ladies” for a second go-round in their roles as Judy Denmark and Sylvia St. Croix. 

Coming this spring, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will lovely skewer musical theatre, stage mothers, and ambitious child stars in its production of Ruthless! The Musical.  As previously announced by the theatre's producers, due to current health and safety protocols in place limiting cast sizes, Ruthless! The Musical has taken the place of Oliver!, which had originally been announced for the 2021 Season.

Way Off Broadway was scheduled to welcome the Broadway classic Oliver! back to its stage after more than 20 years, beginning in March.  However, to do so would require a cast larger than producers believed to be prudent at this time.  In its place, Way Off Broadway has announced the musical comedy Ruthless!

Though performances at The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre have been suspended since mid-March due to the global Coronavirus pandemic, the company's producers are looking to the future with the unveiling of Way Off Broadway's 2020/2021 Season line-up.

As Way Off Broadway begins to prepare for its reopening later this spring, producers have announced auditions for the theatre's upcoming summer production of Disney & Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins. Due to the current health crisis, Way Off Broadway will, for the first time, be casting one of its Mainstage productions through video submissions.

The most popular show of the year at Way Off Broadway is always the dinner theatre's original holiday production. In past seasons, tickets for the holiday presentation have often sold out before the show even opens making them the hottest ticket at the area's only year-round producing theatre. This year, Way Off Broadway will give audiences something of a glimpse, albeit a slightly exaggerated one, of what goes into putting on a holiday show with Stage Door Christmas.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will present a staging of Elf Jr. a?" The Musical as a special Family Theatre Holiday Event for the upcoming Christmas season. Performances of the family friendly production will begin November 23rd and run through December 22nd at the popular Frederick theatre venue.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 2019/2020 Season kicks off in September with the cult comedy classic Little Shop of Horrors. The production will be the first in the theatre's six-show, 26th Season.
