BroadwayWorld has just learned that Liberation, winner of the 2026 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and recently nominated for five Tony Awards including Best Play, will be produced in London in 2027.

The Drama Desk Awards has revealed the line-up of special performances and tributes for the 70th Annual Drama Desk Awards, taking place Sunday, May 17, 2026 at The Town Hall.

On Tuesday night, Topfer Theatre was packed for Zach Theater’s 2026-2027 season announcement, and honestly, seeing that many people come out on a school night to celebrate regional theatre felt wonderful. The energy in the room was electric. Austin showed up for the arts.

Stage West Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas, announced its 48th season lineup. The company, located on W. Vickery Blvd., continues its decades-long run as one of the city's prominent theatrical venues.

Zach Theater announced its 2026-27 season, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning play LIBERATION, PETER PAN GOES WRONG, THE COLOR PURPLE, and DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID, plus a three-season trilogy of works by women playwrights.

Grammy-nominated Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) and Broadway playwright Lindsey Ferrentino will appear at the Hermitage Artist Retreat's beachfront 'Script & Song' program, as the retreat also celebrates a Pulitzer Prize win for a Hermitage-born production.
