The Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art and Starring Buffalo are excited to present Color and Light, an exhibition in the lobby of Sheas 710 Theater that will accompany Starring Buffalo's production of Sunday in the Park with George. The exhibition takes the characters, songs, and script of the acclaimed musical as a point of departure and connection between works by contemporary artists.

Emmy-nominated writing team Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond have released the world premiere recording of their song 'Chaos', performed by Ben Fankhauser (Newsies) with orchestrations by August Eriksmoen (Come From Away, Bright Star), is now available.

Olney Theatre Center is extending the run of A.D. 16 (book by Bekah Brunstetter, music and lyrics by Cinco Paul, directed by Stephen Brackett) through March 20, 2022.

The reviews are in for Olney Theatre Center's world premiere of A.D. 16, now on stage through March 6, 2022. The new musical is by writers Cinco Paul (co-creator of Despicable Me and Schmigadoon!) and Bekah Brunstetter (producer and writer on This Is Us).

Join dozens of Newsies cast members from Broadway and the tour as they take to the stage of Feinstein’s/54 Below to sing your favorite Newsies songs, as well as songs that were cut and behind the scene stories.

A.D. 16 is an exuberant, ambitious world premiere with its eyes on Broadway; music and lyrics by Cinco Paul (Despicable Me, Schmigadoon!), book by Bekah Brunstetter (This Is Us) and direction by Stephen Brackett (Be More Chill). A.D. 16 starts with the missing teen years of Jesus, layers in an effervescent R&B-influenced score, and sprinkles in some irreverence and anachronistic humor.
