A Bistro Award, Three MAC Nominations And A Brand New Show At Pangea For Gretchen Reinhagen

Nightlife, Bistro and MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) Award winning artist, Gretchen Reinhagen heads into the final chapter of her residency at the downtown supper club, Pangea with a brand new show for the final three months of the run. 'Gretchen Live: Beginnings' will run on the third Tuesday of the month at 7pm from March 17th through May 19th at Pangea.

York Theatre Company Will Present The World Premiere Of CHEEK TO CHEEK: IRVING BERLIN IN HOLLYWOOD

The York Theatre Company will present the Off-Broadway premiere of Cheek to Cheek: Irving Berlin in Hollywood, a song and dance celebration featuring the music and lyrics of the legendary Irving Berlin, with book by Barry Kleinbort (13 Things About Ed Carpolotti) and music direction by David Hancock Turner (York's Desperate Measures), directed and choreographed by four-time Tony Award nominee Randy Skinner (42nd Street, Dames at Sea, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, and Ain't Broadway Grand). Performances begin Friday, April 17, 2020 for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, May 17, 2020 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Opening Night is set for Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 6:45 p.m. Cast and creative team will be announced shortly.

Tony Award-winner Elizabeth Ashley and Tony Award-nominee Penny Fuller will star in a reading of Wharton/Williams, a work based on the short stories of novelist Edith Wharton and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tennessee Williams. Adapted by award-winning playwright/librettist Charles Leipart, Wharton/Williams will be directed by Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winner Michael Wilson.

MAC Award-Winner Rosemary Loar Presents EVERYTHING'S COMING UP ROSIE At Don't Tell Mama

When one heads toward the two cabaret rooms at the venerable New York club Don't Tell Mama, they pass a wall of show posters highlighting cabaret stars, past and present. One of those posters is from the early 1980s and features Rosemary Loar, who at that time was in the early stages of a cabaret and musical theater career that is now into its fourth decade. Loar is celebrating her success in both genres during the run of her latest cabaret show, EVERYTHING'S COMING UP ROSIE, where she delivers iconic songs from classic Broadway Musicals in which Loar herself starred, whether on Broadway, Off-Broadway, or in regional theater.
