“Station 19” has been given a full-season order, Channing Dungey, president, ABC Entertainment, announced today.

Delivering best-ever lead-in retention out of “Grey's Anatomy” at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday (87%) against increased competition from a stronger “Thursday Night Football” game (Eagles-NY Giants) on Fox, “Station 19”'s crossover episode with “Grey's” made ABC the entertainment leader in the hour among Adults 18-49 (1.3/5), beating out comedies on CBS by 8% (“Mom”/”Murphy Brown” = 1.2/5) and on NBC by 86% (“Will & Grace”/”I Feel Bad” = 0.7/3).

Three-time Tony Award nominee Andy Karl has tackled a more diverse array of characters than most actors are lucky to see in a lifetime.

According to Variety, ABC has renewed the Viola Davis drama How to Get Away with Murder for a fifth season. 

On February 2, the real Groundhog Day, original cast members from the musical reunited for Humans Of Punxsutawney, a one-night-only concert at Feinstein's/54 Below. The ABC Television Network has announced midseason premiere dates for the new dramas The Crossing, Deception, For The People and the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, as well as new comedies Alex, Inc. and Splitting Up Together. Additionally, American Idol will air Sundays and Mondays, beginning March 11. Dates have also been set for the premiere of Dancing with the Stars All-Athletes Edition and the return of Quantico.

According to the Daily Mail, the clock has yet to stop on GROUNDHOG DAY. The show is currently being revised with hopes for a return to the West End. Director Matthew Warchus says the updated production will feature re-writes of the book (by Danny Rubin) and new songs by Tim Minchin.

Broadway's Okieriete Onaodowan has been cast as a series regular in ABC's upcoming GREY'S ANATOMY spin off. The 10-episode drama, from 'GREY's creator Shonda Rhimas, centers on a group of heroic firefighters.
