Kirk Whalum will perform at Santa Fe Station in Las Vegas. The Grammy-winning saxophonist is known for his work in jazz, gospel, and R&B, including collaborations with Whitney Houston. The concert will take place at the Chrome Showroom.

The legendary West End publicist Peter Thompson, who's work includes the publicity for Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, The Phantom of the Opera and more, has passed away at 81. 

The 98th Oscars brought in 17.86 million viewers this past Sunday on ABC and Hulu, coming in about 9% from last year's ceremony. The new dates are the lowest for the annual event since 2022.

Australian adaptation of the original story, not the film, packs a punch

Entertainment icon Barbra Streisand will receive an honorary Palme d’Or at the 78th Cannes Film Festival this May in recognition of her body of work. Marking her first time at the prestigious festival, Streisand will be presented the award on May 23.
