Amazon Music Live announces a new weekly livestreamed concert series featuring the biggest artists performing their latest hits live, hosted by 2 Chainz. Airing on Prime Video following Thursday Night Football, music and sports fans will come together for Thursday night’s new destination for the hottest new releases to come to life.

Chris Isaak, known for his smoldering vocals, released Everybody Knows It's Christmas (Sun Records/Virgin UMG) on October 14th with a vinyl edition coming on November 19th. The album features an original track called “Almost Christmas.” The album will be supported by in-store vinyl signings and a tour.

Good Theater will continue its 20th anniversary season with Carousel, running November 9th through December 4th. Based on the play Liliom by Hungarian playwright Ferenc Molnár, Carousel features a book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and music by Richard Rodgers. Since it premiered on Broadway in 1945, it has seen several Broadway and West End revivals, as well as a 1956 film adaptation, shot primarily in Boothbay Harbor and Camden, ME.

Quality Control’s “Female Goat” Lakeyah announced her No Pressure Tour, kicking off November 4th at Hakkasan in Las Vegas, NV. The U.S. tour will make stops in Detroit, Houston, New York, and Chicago, and will wrap up in Los Angeles on November 30th. The No Pressure Tour arrives on the heels of Lakeyah’s No Pressure Part 2 EP.

Winter has released her new album What Kind of Blue Are You? on cult indie label Bar/None Records (Yo La Tengo, Ivy). Over the course of the pandemic, Samira Winter decamped to Studio 22 in L.A. with producer Joo Joo Ashworth (Automatic, Dummy, SASAMI) where the pair spent the many months of harsh uncertainty sharpening her songs into a fine point.

Award-winner Goldie Dver has been busy lately, and it all comes to a head on November 6th at The Laurie Beechman Theatre.

The 23rd annual Newport Beach Film Festival (NBFF) will present the largest celebration of Irish Cinema in North America during its eight-day run (Oct. 13-20, 2022) in Southern California. Highlights include an Irish Showcase event, red carpet premieres, 10 Irish feature-length films, the U.S. premiere of Ireland's foreign Oscar submission, 13 Irish short films and the participation of Irish filmmakers and dignitaries.

The Epstein Theatre's pantomime, Goldilocks And The Three Bears was officially launched at a special breakfast event, complete with bowls of porridge, at the Hanover Street venue.

Leanne Morgan will be donating a portion of her ticket sales from her show at Van Wezel Performing Arts Center in Sarasota, Florida, to support the survivors of Hurricane Ian. The proceeds will be donated to the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. Morgan will be performing on Oct. 16, 2022.

Vineyard Theatre has announced that T. Adamson is the recipient of the 2022-23 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award. Adamson will be presented with the award at The Vineyard's Emerging Artists Celebration on Tuesday, November 15 at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Her new album is written and produced by carobae as well as songs co-written and co-produced with Brandon Shoop (sophie cates, Quinn XCII), Sean Kennedy (UPSAHL, Role Model, Nessa Barrett), Lauren Mandel (LØLØ, TALK, Maggie Lindemann, MOTHICA), Raziel (Siiickbrain, Poutyface, Slush Puppy) and Megan Redmond (Taylor Edwards, Charlotte Sands, Taela).

Cumulus shares the LPs effervescent new single “Risky Business Feeling”, featuring vocals from song co-writer Andrew Vait of Little Wins, who also co-produced and mixed the album. The song was born out of the stir crazy days of the pandemic’s first lockdown.
