Disney on Broadway continues its 25th anniversary celebration in partnership with the Fashion Institute of Technology, creating a unique design challenge for students to reimagine contemporary designs for some of Disney on Broadway's iconic female characters. The partnership is a first between Disney on Broadway and the college, which will soon be celebrating its 75th anniversary.
Broadway's very own Princess Jasmine, Arielle Jacobs, won't go speechless. The Aladdin star recently recorded her own version of 'Speechless'- a song written by Alan Menken, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul for the new Aladdin film. A rare treat is in store for Utah audiences, as the beloved Broadway Princess Party will arrive in Sandy on Aug. 23 with Tony nominee Laura Osnes, who originated the title role in Rodgers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA on Broadway; Susan Egan, who originated the part of Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST on Broadway and voiced Meg in HERCULES; Christy Altomare, who was the first and only person to play Anya in ANASTASIA on Broadway; and Arielle Jacobs, who was the first to play Jasmine in the Australian production of ALADDIN and is currently playing the part on Broadway.

Following a sold-out engagement at Feinstein's at the Nikko in 2018, The Broadway Princess Party will perform at Walnut Creek's Lesher Center for the Arts on Sunday, August 25 at 3 p.m.
For the last five years, the New Amsterdam Theatre has been all about magic lamps, carpet rides, princes, thieves and genies! That's because Disney's Aladdin, which opened in 2014, has played well over 2000 performances there.
