Rehearsals began yesterday for the remounting of Amas Musical Theatre's production of 'Romeo & Bernadette: A Musical Tale of Verona and Brooklyn.' Produced by Eric Krebs, performances are set to begin at Theatre Row on March 17 with an official re-opening on Thursday, March 26 at 7pm.

Producer Eric Krebs, has announced today that the Off-Broadway production of Romeo & Bernadette: A Musical Tale of Verona and Brooklyn with book and lyrics by Mark Saltzman, music adapted from classic Italian melodies, and directed and choreographed by Justin Ross Cohen will move from the 99-seat Mezzanine Theatre at A.R.T./New York Theatres to the 199-seat Theatre 3 (formerly The Acorn) at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th and Dyer Avenues) for an open-ended engagement.

Produced by Rock-it Science Records and currently in it's thirteenth year, purchase of the album benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This highly anticipated annual holiday release features casts from the current Broadway line-up of shows performing new and traditional holiday music. Broadway's Carols for a Cure offers a 'snapshot' of each season, as the casts and orchestras from each show on Broadway perform their own holiday track. Yesterday, beloved tenor Daniel Rodriguez stopped by the recording studio to contribute to the album and BroadwayWorld was there for the photo op.
