Beetlejuice producer Mark Kaufman revealed that they had planned to film the Broadway production in April 2020, just before the Broadway shutdown. Based on the outcome of other live captures of musicals that have been released since then, he states that they are not currently planning on filming the Broadway production before it closes.
Alex Brightman, who suffered a concussion at Beetlejuice's Christmas Eve performance and was out of the show until he could be cleared by a doctor, has announced his return!
