The full cast & creative team has been announced for the Directors Company’s production of The Lucky Star by Karen Hartman, part of the inaugural VOLT Festival at 59E59. Directed by Noah Himmelstein (Rooted), The Lucky Star begins previews on April 26, 2022, in Theater A and opens May 5 for a run through June 12, 2022.
With her new show about the roles she should have played, Mary Lahti creates a touchingly hilarious (or hilariously touching) story of the pitfalls of being an actor.
Early in the show, Silber hit Valentine’s day out of the park as she told of being the author of two, count them TWO books. One of her published efforts, AFTER ANATEVKA: A NOVEL INSPIRED BY 'FIDDLER ON THE ROOF', served as the basis for a 3 song triptych in her LOVE set.
FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present A Broadway Valentine’s Day! on February 14 at 7:00pm and 9:45pm. The 9:45pm performance will also be livestreamed. There is a $50-$60 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum.
