We sat down with Carol Burnett to look back on all the laughs she has given us throughout the years, starting with her Broadway debut in Once Upon a Mattress in 1959. Tonight, NBC will air its sixth live musical production. Following in the footsteps of The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, The Wiz, Hairspray, and Jesus Christ Superstar, the peacock network will be presenting Annie. Based on Harold Gray's comic strip titled Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a little orphan with equal measures of pluck and positivity who charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in New York City in the year 1933.

Marc Tumminelli and Little Me: Growing Up Broadway, in association with the Broadway Podcast Network, is celebrating their one year anniversary with new episodes, as well as, their new “Spotlight” series. 

TCM Big Screen Classics will present Annie in select theaters beginning this weekend. The 1982 musical film will be shown on Sunday, November 22, 2020, Monday, November 23, 2020, Friday, November 27, 2020, and Saturday, November 28, 2020. Carol Burnett and Tim Curry, who played Miss Hannigan and Rooster in the film, chatted with Forbes recently about how the film has stood the test of time.

Cast members from the original Broadway and First National Touring companies of Saturday Night Fever are marking the 20th anniversary of the show's opening in New York by gathering in Times Square on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at 7 pm. At 7 pm Eastern, in Duffy Square, participating company members will recreate a portion of the closing number from the show, the a?oeMega Mix,a?? with the original choreography intact.
