For many, Burt Bacharach is a household name, the soundtrack that spans from childhood to adulthood. For some, Bacharach’s name might not ring a bell, but his wide discography of songs that spans decades, mediums, collaborators, and genres is sure to have even the most musically naive audience members dancing in their seats to some familiar favorites.
GOING BACHARACH: THE SONGS OF AN ICON will run at Chicago’s Apollo Theater with the original New York cast. The musical revue celebrates the work of Burt Bacharach with songs including “Alfie” and “What the World Needs Now.”

The show featured Galante on clarinet (and 2 piano features), with a trio of veteran NYC musicians: Alan Broadbent (piano), Jay Leonhart (bass), & Obed Calvaire (drums).
