BIO
Bridgett Martinez (she/her) is a Puerto Rican actor, director, and teaching artist born and raised in Cleveland. Her acting experience includes credits in Northeast Ohio and Chicago at Ohio Shakespeare Festival, Dobama, Ensemble Theatre, Weathervane Playhouse, Theo Ubique, Madkap Productions, Do Process, Colectivo el Pozo, and Akvavit Theatre. As a director and teaching artist, she has worked with Cleveland Public Theatre/Teatro Publico de Cleveland, Playhouse Square, Dobama, and Near West Theatre. Bridgett earned her BFA in Musical Theatre at Kent State University. She is also the owner of Drama Club Coffee & Books, a mobile cafe/drama bookstore. @bridgettm.thtr

Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre will open its 25th Anniversary season with the Midwest premiere of Refuge, a new play with music and puppetry from creators Satya Jnani Chávez and Andrew Rosendorf with translations by Mari Meza-Burgos. Refuge will begin previews October 7 with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 6:00 p.m.
