EXIT STRATEGY by Ike Holter to Close Ensemble Theatre 46th Season
The production runs in May and June. The run time is 95 minutes with no intermission.
Ensemble Theatre will conclude its 46th season with Ike Holter's Exit Strategy, directed by Jeannine Gaskin.
They bring mouse traps from home, they make the toilet paper last, and they show up for the kids nobody else shows up for. So when the school is slated for closure at the end of the year, and the weight of the inevitable bears down on the community, students and teachers alike discover their breaking points. Ricky, the vice principal, has stayed firmly on the sidelines for all of the teachers' previous battles, but now in the eleventh hour, he is compelled to step up with a plan to save the school. Some risk their futures to follow his lead—but does he actually have any idea what he's doing?
The cast features Andy Knode* (Ricky), Jacki Dietz (Pam), Craig Joseph (Arnold), Alejandro Martinez Jr. (Luce), Sydney Smith (Sadie), Bridgett Martinez (Jania), Drew Pope (Donnie). (Member of Actors' Equity Association)
The production runs May 22nd–June 7th, 2026. The run time is 95 minutes with no intermission. Tickets are $1–40, with performances Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:00pm.
