Daniel Sunjata is an accomplished stage and screen actor whose television work includes starring as Agent Paul Briggs on Graceland and a seven-season run as firefighter Franco Rivera opposite Denis Leary on Rescue Me. He also portrayed legendary baseball player Reggie Jackson in the miniseries The Bronx Is Burning, with additional television appearances in Grey's Anatomy, Smash, Sex and the City, Love Monkey, Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU.

Daniel Sunjata is an accomplished stage and screen actor whose television work includes starring as Agent Paul Briggs on Graceland and a seven-season run as firefighter Franco Rivera opposite Denis Leary on Rescue Me. He also portrayed legendary baseball player Reggie Jackson in the miniseries The Bronx Is Burning, with additional television appearances in Grey's Anatomy, Smash, Sex and the City, Love Monkey, Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU. He starred opposite Andie MacDowell in the television films At Risk and The Front.
On the big screen, Sunjata's credits include The Devil Wears Prada, The Dark Knight Rises, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Bad Company, Woody Allen's Melinda and Melinda, One for the Money, Gone and Lullaby. He also earned acclaim for his portrayal of Langston Hughes in Rodney Evans' 2004 film Brother to Brother.
Sunjata is also an acclaimed stage actor, earning a Tony Award nomination in 2003 for his performance as Darren Lemming in Take Me Out. Sunjata’s other Broadway credits include Twelfth Night, Cyrano de Bergerac, Macbeth, The Country House and Saint Joan.
