“Are you blind when you're born? Can you see in the dark?” According to iconic lyrics by Richard Stilgoe for one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit shows, Jellicles are and Jellicle do! The national tour of the megamusical phenomenon, Cats, stopped at Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson, Mississippi as a part of the Broadway in Jackson series presented by Trustmark on February 13th and 14th to show audience members exactly what the lives of Jellicle cats look like, specifically on the night of the all-important Jellicle Ball.

One of the biggest hits in theatrical history, CATS will open at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) in Providence, RI, Tuesday, January 22 to Sunday, January 27, 2019 as part of a multi-season North American tour. In Providence, CATS is part of the Taco/White Family Foundation Broadway Series. CATS is recommended for ages 6 and up.

Producers The Shubert Organization and The Nederlander Organization announced today that the first-ever Broadway revival of CATS will play its final performance at 8 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 W 52nd Street) after 16 previews and 593 regular performances. Preview performances of CATS began Thursday, July 14, 2016 followed by a Sunday, July 31, 2016 opening night.

Leona Lewis will sing her final 'Memory' today, before her time with Cats becomes just that. After taking on the role of Grizabella after pop star Nicole Scherzinger decided to depart the revival in favor of being a judge on The X Factor, Lewis joined the production in time for the Broadway transfer, which opened July 31st. She will be succeeded in the role of The Glamour Cat by her understudy, Mamie Parris, who begins performances as Grizabella on October 17th.
