Shaun T. Evans is an American Actor/Director from California. He studied Theatre Arts at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Shaun T. Evans has appeared in over 100 professional stage productions, including touring musicals. Shaun T. Evans has appeared on numerous TV shows and live broadcasts nationwide. In addition to acting, Shaun T. Evans founded the California Youth Conservatory Theatre, a training company for serious young performers, in San Diego, California. Shaun T. Evans is also a licensed pilot.

The Award-winning California Youth Conservatory Theatre (CYC), well known for staging some of San Diego's most ambitious and successful youth theatre productions ever, will open a special holiday engagement of the brilliant and controversial hit musical RENT. Inspired by Puccini's La Bohemme, the modern-day rock opera tells the story of a collection of struggling artists and musicians trying to survive and practice their craft in the avant-garde neighborhood of New York's Lower East Side. This incredible production is being directed by CYC Artistic Director and long-time professional actor, Shaun T. Evans. Evans will also star in the show as "Collins."

This year's benefit concert will be held at The Headquarters at Seaport District, the new, upscale plaza built on the grounds of the old San Diego Police headquarters. Formerly held at the Lyceum Theatre, this black-tie event will be held under the stars at this luxurious new venue near Seaport Village.
