Rudy Guerrero Biography
Mr. Guerrero (he, him, his) was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and has a multiracial heritage. He identifies as a BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ artist. He has a M.F.A. in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater and a B.F.A. in Musical Theater from the Boston Conservatory. He has performed as an actor, singer, dancer and choreographer on numerous stages both nationally and internationally.He has had multiple award nominations and is the recipient of two Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Awards for Best Actor in a Musical for his performances as "Tick/Mitzi" in Priscilla Queen of the Desert and as "The Leading Player" in Pippin.
He is also the recipient of several Dean Goodman Choice Awards for Best Actor for his performances as "Prince Dauntless" in Once Upon a Mattress, "Don Juan" in Don Juan, "Dr. Caius" in The Merry Wives of Windsor, and "Valere" in Tartuffe.
He is currently based in San Francisco, California and is a member of Actors Equity Association, the Union of Professional Actors and Stage Managers in the United States.
