Dream House Quartet performs at UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) on Sunday, April 30 at 7 pm in Royce Hall as part of the group's highly anticipated North American debut tour.

Produced by Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry, the album was recorded between 2019 and 2021 at Skybarn in Montreal, Canada. Featuring guest appearances by Jon Spencer, Richard Reed Parry, Margaret Good (backing vocals) and Bruce Good on autoharp, Colder Streams was engineered and mixed by Pietro Amato.

Produced by Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry and recorded between 2019 and 2021 at Skybarn in Montreal, Canada, Colder Streams features 11 original compositions. The album was engineered and mixed by Pietro Amato, except for 'You Should Be Worried,” which was engineered and mixed by Michael Dubue and mastered by Peter J. Moore.  

Shriver Hall Concert Series will open its 2021-22 season with a performance by the lauded Miró Quartet. The in-person concert features Mozart's String Quartet in B-flat Major, K. 458, 'Hunt;' Beethoven's String Quartet in A minor, Op. 132; and the world premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw's Microfictions [Vol. I].

Musically the track began to take shape during a residency at the Banff Center for the Arts, then was recorded with engineer Will MacLellan (Phoebe Bridgers, Blake Mills, Ethan Gruska) at Sound City Studios, in LA, California.

Ward has unveiled the video for his current single “Unreal City.” Directed by Beatrice Pegard and filmed in Paris, France, the video comes ahead of the April 3rd release of highly anticipated new album Migration Stories (Anti Records). Pegard adds, 'The video is about finding joy and wonder in the most random moments and places, paying homage to Jean-Luc Godard and the New Wave.'

M. Ward has shared “Unreal City,” the second single from his latest album, Migration Stories, to be released on April 3rd, 2020 via Anti Records. A full North American tour will follow in April and May - all dates below. Captivating first track, “Migration Of Souls,” was released in December. 

ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) announces an eclectic music lineup for its 22nd Annual Sundance ASCAP Music Café, taking place January 24 - 31, 2020 during the acclaimed Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Beginning at 2 p.m. each day, the Café will feature a dynamic mix of both established and emerging songwriters and artists such as Matt Berninger (of The National), Derek Smalls (formerly of the band formerly known as Spinal Tap), the bird and the bee, Barry Zito, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Matthew Koma (of Winnetka Bowling League) and ZZ Ward.
