BIO
Michael Manzi is an American actor/musician based in NYC. He has performed off broadway at the Jerry Orbach theatre as well as other venues around New York. He currently tours with his band 'Hearts Open', performing lyric driven indie-rock music (which can be found on all streaming platforms under Manzi's name). Influences include: Catfish and the Bottlemen, Michael was born on valentine's day and believes love and art are connected by their power to affirm life!

THE CENTER AT WEST PARK (CWP), the Upper West Side's cultural hub for diverse, engaging, and boundary-pushing performing arts, announces the performances of Gamepiece, a new interactive performance from Christian Flynn, as part of the 2023 Evolution Festival, a multi-disciplinary performance festival featuring three original works-in-progress of theater, dance, and music by NYC-based artists.

Darrel and Thomas offered a new take on being “in conversation” as they guided the audience through an evening of poetry, song, and comedy celebrating the collection’s themes. Emotionally intense and volatile as always, the show also featured comedy, musical performances, and readings from Peggy Robles-Alvarado, Christin Eve Cato, and more.

The evening will feature 11 New York University students, across multiple schools, performing songs ranging from musical theatre to pop and R&B. The concert will also premiere an original song written in honor of the event by student Kaila Wooten.
