42ND STREET Complete Recording Will Be Released on April 8

Jay commenced the first complete recording of the original version of the musical with the original orchestrations by Philip J. Lang at Abbey Road Studios, London on October 5 1996 and completed it at Clinton Recording Studios, New York on October 19 1996. This will be the first time it is released to the public.

Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, continues its 2017/18 Season with Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by Michael Cumpsty. Performances play Two River's Rechnitz Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, through Sunday, December 3. The opening night performance is tonight, November 17 at 7pm.

Michael Cumpsty has been nominated for several awards throughout his career. He was nominated for the Tony Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for "End of the Rainbow." He also received a nomination for Performance at the Obie Awards for his role in "Hamlet." In addition, Cumpsty was nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Awards for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play for "Enchanted April" and for Outstanding Actor in a Musical for "42nd Street."
