Barbra Streisand to Perform at Madison Square Garden

Barbra Streisand will bring her legendary live performance home to New York City's Madison Square Garden for the first time in 13 years, it was announced today by her longtime manager Marty Erlichman. 'There are no fans like New York Fans!' said Streisand 'and I can't wait to return to Madison Square Garden to perform some new songs, some old songs and anything I find in between.'

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) annual Retro Prom is returning for the sixteenth straight year March 30. The Frederick non-profit theater company's annual fundraiser is a groovy night when attendees break out the dusty prom dresses and platform shoes to go "Back to the Future" to show dazzling displays of retro attire from decades past. The idea of "prom attire" has metamorphosed through the years as disco queens, flower children, flappers, and greasers have rubbed elbows with zombies and Pontiffs.
MET to Open 18th Season with ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present the inaugural play in its 18th Mainstage season, the hysterical hit show, One Man, Two Guvnors. Written by Richard Bean, and directed by MET Artistic Director Tad Janes, the play will run at MET for four weeks beginning September 11.
