Austin Shakespeare presents 'An Enemy of the People' as a staged reading. With an exceptional cast that includes actors from Austin and Hollywood, the play delivers thought-provoking theatre, that touches on themes that resonate in the context of contemporary America: the moral dilemma between self-interest and the greater good.

Austin Shakespeare will present a staged reading of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People starring well-known television actor Mark Pellegrino at KMFA's Draylen Mason Studio Dec. 14 to 17.

Austin Shakespeare will re-vision some delightful music, comedy and sweeping drama in its upcoming 23-24 season, including a musical revue, the classics El Cid and a staged reading of An Enemy of The People, an homage to a classic American storyteller with O. Henry Stories, and Shakespeare’s Richard III and Romeo and Juliet.  Learn more about the full season lineup here!

The series stars Emmy winner and Tony nominee Jeff Daniels (THE COMEY RULE, The Newsroom, Godless, The Looming Tower) and award-winning actress and Emmy nominee Maura Tierney (YOUR HONOR, THE AFFAIR, The Report, Beautiful Boy). 

Actress and producer Maria Breese has signed with Studio Matrix; for publicity and brand management by Wendy Shepherd. As an actress, Maria is most known for her role as Lina in the Showtime series 'Shameless,' her role as Erika Schultz in Hulu's horror series 'Dark/Web,' and her recurring role as Crystal in Vice's comedy series 'All Wrong.'

The season will consist of nine episodes.

SAG-AFTRA award-winning actor Jermaine Rivers has signed with Studio Matrix; for publicity and brand management by Wendy Shepherd. Jermaine is notable for his recurring role as Shatter on the Marvel / Fox hit series 'The Gifted,' a superhero television series based on Marvel Comics' X-Men properties.

Internet attorney and media journalist, Andrew Rossow launched AR Media Consulting to help provide a platform for those marginalized voices to be heard in media, regardless of Silicon Valley or Hollywood success.

Mark Pellegrino, who is most known for his lead role as 'Lucifer' in the CW series 'Supernatural,' in addition to his lead roles in '13 Reason's Why,' 'Dexter,' and 'Lost,' has teamed up with internet attorney Andrew Rossow to launch a campaign for 'The Guardian Project,' a new reality docuseries.
