Manuao TeAotonga

Manuao has been performing for over 30 years around Australia, New Zealand and the UK. He most recently performed as Mr Myers in HAMA Productions of FAME at Crown Theatre in April 2022 and JoJo in Yirra Yaakin’s world premiere of Panawathi Girl as part of the 2022 Perth Festival at His Majesty’s theatre in February 2022. Other musical theatre highlights for Manuao have been roles in Kinky Boots (Lola), Dirty Cabaret (Franky), Falling to the Top (Spicy LaMangino), Sweeney Todd (Adolfo Pirelli), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney), West Side Story (Bernardo), Singin’ In the Rain (Cosmo), Flora the Red Menace (Kenny), The World Goes Round, The Addams Family and many more.
In addition to being a performer, Manuao is also a makeup artist, a lecturer and retails some of his own makeup products. Manuao recently designed the makeup for The Addams Family (Zealous Productions), Cinderella (Zealous Productions) and The Little Mermaid (HAMA Productions) at the Regal Theatre in 2021 and Wizard of Oz (HAMA Productions) at the Crown Theatre in January 2022.
