Lizbeth MacKay is an accomplished actress with an extensive background in theater, film, and television. She was born in New York City and grew up in Westchester County, where she began her career in the arts.
MacKay has appeared in numerous Broadway productions, including "The Price," "The Crucible," and "A Streetcar Named Desire." She has also performed in off-Broadway productions, such as "The Public Theater's" production of "Mother Courage and Her Children," and "The Vineyard Theatre's" production of "The Argument."
In addition to her work on stage, MacKay has also appeared in a number of films and television shows. Some of her notable film credits include "The Ice Storm," "The Devil's Advocate," and "The Interpreter." On television, she has appeared in shows such as "Law & Order," "The Sopranos," and "The Good Wife."
MacKay's talents extend beyond acting, as she is also an accomplished singer and musician. She has performed in numerous musical productions, including "The Threepenny Opera," "The Wild Party," and "The Fantasticks."
MacKay has received critical acclaim for her work throughout her career. She was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for her performance in "The Price," and received an Obie Award for her performance in "The Public Theater's" production of "The Loman Family Picnic."
MacKay's most recent work includes a recurring role on the television series "The Deuce," and a role in the film "The Report."

Marin Theatre Company is honored to co-produce a staged reading of Jeff Cohen's The Soap Myth with the Marin Academy today, February 21 at 7:00pm starring the incomparable Ed Asner and Tovah Feldshuh.
