A thrilling production of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is being presented at McCarter Theatre Center through December 24.

McCarter Theatre Center has announced the return of the beloved holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.  Returning to the McCarter stage for the first time since 2019, the spectacular classic production is adapted and directed by Lauren Keating.

McCarter has announced its 2022-23 season featuring a robust lineup of theater, music, dance, comedy, spoken word, and family programming - and a special Toni Morrison project in partnership with Princeton University.

Cleveland Play House will present an urgent, strikingly relevant take on the classic Greek play, Antigone. Freely adapted by Emily Mann from the play by Sophocles, the epic tragedy runs March 5 – 27, 2022 in the Outcalt Theatre at Playhouse Square.

Cleveland Play House Artistic Director Laura Kepley has announced the 2021-2022 mainstage season lineup of plays for the Tony Award recipient’s 106th consecutive season. Launching in October 2021, the productions for CPH’s dynamic five-play in-person season will start small and grow in size and scale as the season progresses.

Performances begin March 28th, 2020 and continue through April 19th, 2020 in the intimate Outcalt Theatre at Playhouse Square. The Valkyries written by Jessica Owens and directed by Blayze Teicher will be presented as part of The Tank's LadyFest, a festival featuring pieces written, directed, produced, acted, managed, and designed all by female or gender non-confirming artists. The festival is 'in celebration of womxnhood and the female voice, in all its glory.'

There's something very unique happening at The Jungle Theater. In the play Small Mouth Sounds  by Bess Wohl, barely a word is said onstage during the show. Though much is said from the characters. Sitting in (mostly) silence in the audience while watching mostly silence on stage was a really interesting experience, because it made the play feel more intimate. The characters, whose lives I was watching onstage, and I were in the same state. For that alone, I urge you to see this show.
