BIO
Kenneth Mosley is an actor, singer/songwriter/recording artist, and host. He recently starred in the Broadway national tours of Motown the Musical (as music mogul Berry Gordy, Jr.), and in the Tony award-winning Kinky Boots (as the fabulous, larger-than-life "Lola"). Select regional theatre credits: Memphis ("Gator"), Hairspray ("Seaweed"), Sister Act ("TJ"), The Little Mermaid ("Sebastian" U/S) & Snoopy: the Musical ("Snoopy"). Select TV/Film: Searching, Grace & Frankie, Ten Days in the Valley, Crazy Love, Black-ish, Pitch, and Game Shakers. Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Southern Methodist University.

Touted as the first 'non-replica' regional production of this Disney stage musical mounted in Southern California, La Mirada Theatre's fresh iteration of FROZEN - THE MUSICAL still has plenty of Disney-esque magic to offer young and old audience members alike seeking to revisit the land of Arendelle. Enhanced significantly by an energetic ensemble cast led by a pair of compelling lead actresses, this entertaining new production is lively, colorful, and grand-sounding overall, making it stand as a respectable modern musical filled with likable characters, relatable emotions, and some genuine laughs. This new Los Angeles premiere production—directed and choreographed by Dan Knechtges—continues performances through June 29 in the city of La Mirada.

The much-loved family musical stars Jenna Lea Rosen as Princess Elsa and Cailen Fu as Princess Anna, two of the most popular Disney princesses among fans of all ages. I decided to speak with them about their history performing the roles and their path to appearing in the current touring production.

To put it simply, this production is quite well done. Oh, if only all jukebox musicals were this good.

Kinky Boots returned to Jacksonville for one night only, and audiences went crazy for it! It seemed half of Jacksonville showed up for the performance and were in love with the Tony-Award Winning musical. The show follows the story of a son who inherits a shoe factory and is not passionate about working in shoes. However, when a drag queen crosses his path, he has the idea to make a specific shoe product for drag queens. With music by Cyndi Lauper and book by Harvey Fierstein, all audiences are bound to be entertained.

Often when you go to a Broadway show you want to be challenged, enthralled, and blown away. Other times, as Cindy Lauper says in her hit song 'Girls just want to have fun'. Ms. Lauper's 'Kinky Boots' falls under the latter category and that's ok because it is just that, a really, fun and enjoyable show. With Book by the Broadway Veteran Harvey Fierstein, and music and lyrics by Cindi Lauper, with strong direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell, made for an entertaining and enjoyable evening. The show is based on the British Indy film of the same name which debuted in 2005. This TROIKA Entertainment touring production, playing in the intimate setting of the Emerson Colonial Theatre was just the thing for a cool rainy night out.
