This elusiveness characterises this specially commissioned production at Theatre Royal Bath very well: it's sumptuously staged with some brilliant performances, yet the changes of tone don't quite blend as well as they may.

Join Pater Sheppard Skaeverd on a journey of intricate sonatas through to his muchly celebrated concertante works for violin, viola and piano. Nashville-based polymath Michael Alec Rose will present the exclusive world premiere of a series of violin pieces inspired by intimate walks across Dartmoor, whilst exploring its rich history along the way. Pianist Daniel-Ben Pienaar will join Peter as well as composer David Lancaster in Concert Two (14 February).
