BIO

Jesica Garrou produces and directs in NYC, Maine and beyond. She directs new work in NYC, most recently Tom Block’s "Oud Player On The Tel" at HERE art center. As the program manager for New Perspectives’ "On Her Shoulders" series, Jesica enjoyed innovating new ways to bring historical women playwrights into the current limelight. Back in her home state of Maine, she is the founder and former president of Royal River Players where she also directs a plethora of shows for audiences of all ages by actors of all ages. She is a member of the League of Professional Theatre Women and an active participant with Theatre Resources Unlimited (TRU).
