Pitlochry Festival Theatre is set to open its Autumn season with television and stage actor Sally Reid (Scot Squad, BBC Scotland) starring in a brand-new revival of the much-loved award-winning comedy Shirley Valentine, Willy Russell's (Blood Brothers and Educating Rita) heart-warming story about a middle-aged, working-class Liverpool housewife whose life is transformed after a holiday in Greece.

Colonial Williamsburg is showcasing its past with live theater on the streets. The town features actors portraying iconic figures in history, including Emily James as Edith Cumbo, a free woman of color who once walked the streets of Williamsburg. She chats with tourists, teaching them about Cumbo's past. She has been playing the role for a decade.

Today, LA based singer-songwriter Emily James releases the debut single from her new AWAL EP  Wanted You to Know, part i set for release on February 26, 2021.  The catchy upbeat track  back in the summer was co-written with  Evan Klar (Mallrat) and Justin Lucas (Khalid)  who also co-produced the song.  back in the summer is available on all digital platforms here.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) today announced the 2019 participants for its prestigious Newcomers Program. Since last year's expansion to include international talent beyond the U.K., BAFTA Los Angeles has become a hub for international rising talent in the U.S., and the program continues to further deliver BAFTA's mission to promote cultural exchange and strengthen global collaboration, with its most international group yet.
