BWW Review: South Coast Repertory Revisits Wendy Wasserstein's THE SISTERS ROSENSWEIG BWW Review: South Coast Repertory Revisits Wendy Wasserstein's THE SISTERS ROSENSWEIG
by Michael Quintos - May 25, 2018

Despite being birthed in the early 1990's, THE SISTERS ROSENSWEIG-the late Pulitzer Prize-winning Wendy Wasserstein's acerbically witty and vibrantly poignant play about a trio of fascinating, strong-willed Jewish-American sisters-has a remarkably timeless, relatable quality, evidenced by South Coast Repertory's delightful and beautifully-acted OC revival production now continuing performances in Costa Mesa through June 2. Thanks to its naturally appealing characters that don't feel like stock archetypes trapped in a retro bubble, the play-under the keen direction of Casey Stangl-comes across as a contemporary-leaning, very thoughtful theatrical piece populated by strong, three-dimensional female characters. DFW Music Director Launches Audition Coaching Program DFW Music Director Launches Audition Coaching Program
by Kyle Christopher West - Apr 3, 2018

What's the best way to banish audition jitters? By being prepared and confident. Rebecca Lowrey can determine exactly what you need to show in an audition so that all you have to worry about is looking great (and fighting traffic). But first, an important distinction: A vocal coach is not the same as a voice teacher. Traditional voice lessons work best on a consistent, long-term schedule, while Rebecca's audition prep session can fit into your schedule on an as-needed basis. All experience levels are welcome. BWW Review: Laughs Abound in Sarah Ruhl's Frothy Backstage Farce STAGE KISS at the Geffen Playhouse
by Shari Barrett - Apr 16, 2016

I have long been a fan of plays that present an insider's look at what goes on behind-the-scenes at a theatrical production. A fine example of such a backstage farce is Sarah Ruhl's STAGE KISS, skillfully directed by Bart DeLorenzo who knows exactly how to make the most outrageous stage antics and romances seem not only probable but incredibly hysterical thanks to Sarah Ruhl's fast-paced script that leads us on-stage, back-stage and out the stage door as reality collides with fiction in this raucous and revealing relationship comedy.
