Claire van Kampen Biography
Internationally renowned as an academic, lecturer, performer and composer, Claire has composed original scores for film, television, ballet and theatre including Broadway productions of True West, La Bête and Boeing-Boeing. Recently she made her directorial debut with Nice Fish. Farinelli and the King marks her playwriting debut. As Founding Director of Theatre Music of Shakespeare’s Globe, Claire received the Sam Wanamaker Award in 2007. In 2015, The Globe made her a Senior Research Fellow.
