The Hollywood Arts Council presented their 28th Annual Charlie Awards Luncheon in theBlossom Room of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, home of the first Academy Awards ceremony, at a Sold Out event on Friday, April 25, 2014. Shauna McClure, Executive Director of the Hollywood Arts Council said: "This was the record breaking year of all time in the Hollywood Arts Council's 36-year history. We raised $110,000 at this year's luncheon. Our Online Auction is still open atwww.biddingforgood.com/hollywoodartscouncil. Over 3,000 people gave a rousing standing ovation for the world premiere of 'The Real Love,' a new musical which brought together some of the biggest names of Hollywood and Broadway onstage at the Pasadena Civic. In what may be the first time in musical theater history, the opening of 'The Real Love' was also experienced by worldwide television viewers watching the live broadcast on Supreme Master Television. This unique occasion was to celebrate the channel's fifth anniversary of constructive programming.

The Hollywood Arts Council presented their 24th Annual Charlie Awards in the historic newly refurbished Blossom Room of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, home of the first Academy Awards ceremony, at a Sold Out luncheon on Friday, March 19, 2010. Nyla Arslanian, President of the Hollywood Arts Council said: 'We raised $75,000 at the event which will benefit the Council's arts programs for underserved children in the community. This is a challenging year economically, but our kids' art programs must continue; Hollywood's at-risk children can't wait for times to get better. We are very grateful to our 250 event attendees and sponsors for their generous support.'
