Due to popular demand, Hell in a Handbag Production' hit comedy I Promised Myself to Live Faster has added three additional performances, extending through May 7, 2023 at The Chopin Downstairs Theatre, 1543 W. Division St. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

Chicago's favorite evening of big voices for a big cause, returns with the 8th annual Belting for Life. For one night only on Monday, May 15 at 7:30pm at Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre in Evanston, Jeff Award-winning director and HIV+ activist Christopher Pazdernik presents the beloved benefit concert.

From the creative team behind the 2012 indie film Scrooge & Marley, a modern day, queer variation on Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” comes a fully realized musical  version reimagined for the stage. Scrooge & Marley: The Musical follows the familiar outline of the  beloved tale of Ebenezer “Ben” Scrooge – the man who hates the holidays and who is reformed after  memorable visits by three ghostly spirits.
