The Theatre Under The Stars “Lights Up” Gala and After Party took place Saturday, November 11 at The Post Oak, drawing a crowd of Houston arts lovers and philanthropists to celebrate the deep impact of theater education on our community! The event raised over $720,000 supporting a breadth of programming at Theatre Under The Stars.

Welcome to Theatre Under The Stars 50th Anniversary Season Gala, an incredible and intimate celebration this past Saturday, March 23rd with Broadway star Idina Menzel and more than 600 TUTS family and friends. Many guests said it was the "best gala" they had ever attended. The gorgeous event designed by Taylor DeMartino of Blooming Gallery not only turned The Post Oak Hotel grand ballroom into a supper club "under the stars" that night, but guests experienced the magic of live musical theatre while supporting a great cause. A private meet and greet with Menzel was given to top sponsors along with gifts donated by David Peck. This historic event raised more funds than any other Gala in TUTS history - $1.37 million for "Houston's Home for Musical Theatre".

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) annual Vine & Dine event held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Silver Street Studios treated its 300 guests to food and wine from around the world. Entertainment for this event was provided by students of the Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) and featured songs from the various musicals represented in each region. The evening raised $135,000 for HSMT and TUTS other educational and community outreach programs.
