BIO

Born in Manhattan and raised in the midwest, Alex Haynes possesses a unique blend of New York flavor and Kansas charm. After graduating from the University of Kansas, Alex cut his teeth as an actor and improvisor in Kansas City at The Coterie Theatre and Comedy City. Since his return to New York, he studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade and joined The Flea Theater's resident acting company, The Bats.



Selected Theater credits include "Puffs" (New World Stages), "Public Enemy" (The Pearl Theater Company), "Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom" (The Flea), as well as numerous readings and comedy shows in New York and across the country. Alex voices Talonflame, Breloom ,and others on Cartoon Network's "Pokemon: X & Y".

If he's not relaxing with his rescue pit bull Fern, dancing in his kitchen, or playing basketball, you can find Alex on an endless quest to have dessert after every meal.
