What did our critic think of 'CHRISTMAS WITH THE CRAWFORDS' PUTS THE 'FUN' BACK IN DYSFUNCTIONAL at Desert Theatreworks?
Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the rest of the Peanuts gang on stage at Theatre 29 weekends December 1st through 17th.

What did our critic think of OFF THE STREETS at Revolution Stage Company? It’s not often you get to see a new piece of work that not only has a profound message, but has fantastic music and talent to match. Tuesday night I did.
What a stellar performance PCT put on with their stunning direction by Luke Rainey and Rent’s incredible cast. The lighting (J.W. Layne) was stunning and lifted the shows emotion and took us swiftly from scene to scene. The choreography (Se Layne) brought laughs and the beautiful visual of community that “Rent” requires. I have SEVERAL “oh WOW” moments in my mind so please enjoy while I immersive myself in all of them as I write this review.
KINKY BOOTS is running strong for another two weeks and I highly encourage you to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful piece of theater! They will “Raise you up” and “Celebrate you to ELEVATE you!” Don’t walk… RUN in those boots BABY- to Kinky Boots!
When creating his season, Dezart Performs Artistic Director Michael Shaw always reaches for top shelf ingredients, but he’s mixed up a delicious cocktail of woke hilarity in Larissa Fasthorse’s marvelous The Thanksgiving Play.
What did our critic think of THE FANTASTICKS at CV Rep?
A staged reading is the theatre equivalent of an audiobook or radio play; the actors read directly from the script and the focus is on the story rather than the action. But make no mistake! There will not only be action, but even music, dynamic lighting, and special effects that are sure to bring, or rather “burn,” the house down.

Four well-intentioned but terminally “woke” theatre artists meet in the rehearsal room at an elementary school to create a pageant that will somehow celebrate both Turkey Day and honor Native American Heritage Month. What could go wrong? The question should probably be a statement of “nothing goes right” in THE THANKSGIVING PLAY by Larissa FastHorse which opens Dezart Performs 16 th Season, November 3 – 12. FastHorse (Sicangu Lakota Nation) is the first Native American woman to have a show produced on Broadway.
Palm Beach Symphony, led by Music Director Gerard Schwarz at the podium, opens its Golden Anniversary Season with piano virtuoso Yefim Bronfman and a program featuring a world premiere commissioned for the occasion in the Dreyfoos Concert Hall at the Kravis Center on Sunday, November 19 at 3 p.m.
What did our critic think of NOT IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN at Revolution Stage Company? According to Gnostic philosopher Samael Aun Weor, the Age of Aquarius began on February 4, 1962 and in 1967 the song about it, “Aquarius”, from the musical Hair became the anthem for what would surely be the beginning of an age that heralded harmony and understanding. Right?
Desert Ensemble Theater (DET), in residence at the Palm Springs Cultural Center, will present Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties by award-winning playwright Jen Silverman.
What did our critic think of THE WITCHES at Theatre 29?
Palm Canyon Theatre’s “Steel Magnolias” was the first dramatic work in their primarlily musical season and, wow, it was the perfect artistic choice! The story revolves around Shelby (no, NOT me) played by Erin Shull, and her life in the small town of Natchitoches Louisiana where love, sass and hairdressers fill the air. If you’ve seen the film, you know what an absolutely briilliant and engaging piece of theatre this is. Timeless!
