Osceola Arts Presents PIPPIN On Stage This April

Osceola Arts continues into the Spring with another musical making its first appearance at the theater. Beginning Friday, April 9th and running through Sunday, April 25th Pippin will be live on the Main Stage. This musical, with music and lyrics by Steven Schwartz and book by Roger O. Hirson, is the fictitious telling of the young son of medieval French ruler, Charlemagne, who is in search of the secret to a life of fulfillment. 
Black Theatre Girl Magic's “Director's Circle” Awarded United Arts Of Central Florida's Diversity In The Arts Grant

This past weekend, Black Theatre Girl Magic was awarded the United Arts of Central Florida's Diversity in the Arts grant for their Director's Circle program. Winning the award along with 10 other grant recipients, BTGM will receive $5000 to support Black and Brown people in the arts.
GODSPELL Opens This April at Garden Theatre

Central Florida audiences, rejoice! Godspell, an international hit for audiences of all ages, opens on the Garden Theatre stage this spring. The sensational 1971 musical features a diverse mix of rock, gospel, and pop interspersed with entertaining and heartfelt parables. Directed by Joseph C. Walsh, Godspell runs April 22 - May 23, 2021. Godspell is presented by the Morrissey Family.

This summer, Jeremy Seghers will direct Stephen Mallatratt's stage adaptation of Susan Hill's gothic novel The Woman in Black. The play, which ran non-stop for over 30 years in London's West End, will be presented at the Timucua Arts Foundation - also known as 'the white house' - in an immersive staging.

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra announces its 2021-2022 Season today, including six concerts on the Classics Series, and five concerts on the Pops Series. The Season will also include the Focus Series, with an expanded six-concert series at The Plaza Live Theater in The Milk District just east of Downtown Orlando, as well as the four-concert Symphony Storytime Series.
