The production runs November 16 through December 16 , 2018. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Thursday and Saturday matinee performances at 2 p.m. and select Friday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

(07/25/2018) - The Winter Park Playhouse continues its tradition of excellence for producing professional musical theatre with a World Premiere as its season opener - Gigolo: The New Cole Porter Revue.  This exceptional new work was featured in the theatre's inaugural Florida Festival of New Musicals last summer, and now takes the stage for its first fully produced run July 27 - August 19.  Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Thursday and Saturday matinee performances at 2 p.m.and select Friday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

(05/14/2018) - When patrons walk into Orlando Repertory Theatre (Orlando REP) they'll find a transformed, imaginative space thanks to a public-private partnership that funded the remodeling of the theatre's main lobby. The Florida Blue Lobby is to be revealed Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 8 a.m. With work surpassing $300,000, the renovation includes a new custom-designed floor, merchandise carts, a video wall, and eco-friendly, custom LED lighting fixtures. The project was made possible by a leading gift from the Florida Blue Foundation and matched by the Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs Cultural Facilities program.

From the composer of The Phantom of the Opera and Cats, Andrew Lloyd Webber's intimate one person musical, Tell Me on a Sunday, follows the heartfelt and comedic journey of a character known only as 'Girl.' Fresh from her native England, this sweet, ambitious, gullible heroine attempts to navigate life and romance in the beautiful, sometimes blistering, streets of New York City. Along the way she will learn how to love the most important person in her life, herself.

Directed and choreographed by Rob Winn Anderson, all performances continue through Sunday, May 27, 2018.

(04/16/2018) -      'Bird Call' is a series that consists of a diverse flock of birds (an owl, dodo, canary, chicken, crowned pigeon, etc.) who run a radio station in the backyard of the human Wally Zutman. The show is set in Peach Pit, Connecticut in the suburbs on Jaybird Street. The birds keep their distance from the humans for it's against the Bird Union Code to speak to them; with the exception of parrots and parakeets due to the 'Pirate Parrot Parakeet Massacre' of 1776. The Bird Union Code: 'We are birds of a feather and we must flock together!'

(04/12/2018) - Garden Theatre will continue its 2017-2018 season with the soaring musical epic, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Victor Hugo's classic tale of hope, love and passion, with a book by Peter Parnell (On A Clear Day You Can See Forever - Broadway revival) and music by composer Alan Menken (Newsies) and lyricist Stephen Schwartz (Wicked), soars to life in this emotionally charged retelling of the celebrated classic. Directed and choreographed by Rob Winn Anderson, performances begin today, April 27 at 8:00 p.m. with a limited run through Sunday, May 27, 2018.

(03/14/2018) - Dr. Phillips Center celebrates Pi Day by revealing the two little girls chosen for their big break in the critically acclaimed Broadway musical WAITRESS at Dr. Phillips Center.  Delainey Silvestro, age 5, and Ella Helton, also age 5, will make their professional debut on the Walt Disney Theater stage next week. The girls visited the arts center for a tour of the theater and dressing rooms. Singer-songwriter Jason Mraz, recent star of the Broadway production of WAITRESS, was in town to perform his Solo Acoustic tour at Dr. Phillips Center and took a moment from his sound check to meet the pint-sized pixies.  Mraz played Dr. Pomatter in a limited engagement in the musical at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre through February 11, 2018.

Resident Director Dodd Loomis and a handful of his fellow Disney Cast Members who help the production come to life, recently pulled back the curtain on their show for a small group of local theatre professionals at Orlando's Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, March 9.
