Wild Wild Christian at SoHo Playhouse Huron Club

Simone McAlonen is an award-winning actor, writer, and comedian whom The LA Times called “a fearless asset.” She is a company member of Ensemble Studio Theatre/LA and an alumna of The Groundlings Mainstage. Her singular upbringing often informs her creative work: partially raised in Oregon on a Christian summer camp located on the former site of the Rajneesh cult. This inspired her critically acclaimed solo show, Wild Wild Christian, which has enjoyed sold-out runs at SF Sketchfest, Dynasty Typewriter, and Portland’s Siren Theater. Beyond the stage, Simone is the Founder and Artistic Director of Midnight Flâneur, a curated production house dedicated to unusual and multi-hybrid performance experiences. She also has produced in-house for Nike and Epic Games. Simone has also found great meaning as an educator for both adults and children pursuing comedy, acting and storytelling. She is currently based in Brooklyn with her business partner and spiritual guide Buddha the Ragdoll cat. Since moving to NYC Simone has continued her creative performance through dance, comedy and storytelling.
