Out in the heat of a nuclear sun... celebrate the album release by experiencing the epic rock opera live!
The Last Summer stars playwright/composer Christoph Whitbeck and rock musician Haley Bowery as they traverse the trials of love and loss in the nuclear apocalypse. A dramatic one-night only performance featuring live rock music from the Teenage Death Squad, sparkling costumes, and a whole lot of ooze. Presented & co-produced by The Eel Pit.
Opening act from poet Gia Anansi-Shakur. DJ afterparty with Semita Serpens.
Doors 7:30. Show 8:30 - 10:00, afterparty to follow.
Note: Judgy Baby is a new multi-purpose venue in Gowanus, Brooklyn. It is not ADA-compliant. There are 4 metal steps to enter the building. There is a wheelchair-accessible elevator inside. There is seating and standing room in the venue.
