The Pushcart Prize has turned 50 this year! Celebrate the May release of Pushcart's most recent anthology featuring selections from the past 25 years with stellar performances by Maggie Siff, Xander Berkeley, Thomas Sadoski & Oscar-Award-Winning J.K. Simmons. Meet authors Jess Row, David Means, Mary Gordon, and honor the late Brian Doyle.
“Growing Pains” brings together four incredible stories that speak to moments of growth and reflection. The program features “The Sliding Door” by Jess Row in advance of his upcoming August release of Storyknife, “Day Care” by Mary Gordon, “Vows” by David Means, and “Joyas Voladoras” by the late, great Brian Doyle. Both the new Pushcart and recent releases from each author will be available for purchase courtesy of McNally Jackson. Plus, experience a story from Jess Row's forthcoming collection, StoryKnife, available August 11th from Harper Collins!
This is the second of three Author • Actor Series that WORDTheatre curates annually in New York.
