Victor Herbert Renaissance Project Live! continues its Fifth Season of dedication to offering the composers works to American audiences. The next event presents eight fine voices, 24 lush Herbert romantic melodies and one great reason to celebrateFebruary 1, 1859Herberts birthday. Take a memorable moonlit walk down Lovers Lane. Swoon and croon along with tunes such as Thine Alone, Sweethearts, and Gypsy Love Song, as well as a few rare gems, performed by Joanie Brittingham, Sarah Caldwell Smith, Jovani Demetrie, Alexa Devlin, Andrew Klima, Claire Leyden, David Seatter, and Matthew Wages.Specially Priced Online Tickets are $10 (students), $20 (seniors) and $35 (general admission) are on sale starting August 15th, 2018. If you wait to pay at the door, its $10 (students), $25 (Seniors) and $40 (Adults). All working entertainment members get $20 admission with presentation of a union card.The Victor Herbert Renaissance Project LIVE! is the world's only company exclusively devoted to Victor Herbert, the Irish-American conductor and musician who composed innovative scores for early Broadway, as well as classical and popular music. Herbert contributed powerfully to the emergence of an authentically 20th century American sound; and did so lavishly, producing 43 operettas, 2 operas, and innumerable compositions for orchestra, band, cello, violin and piano.Now celebrating its fifth consecutive season in New York City, VHRP LIVE! is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation founded in 2014 by the companys Artistic Director Alyce Mott, a leading Herbert historian and librettist and Music Director Michael Thomas.
