CRUSH at Box of Moonlight

After a controversial sexual experience on a first date, two teenagers don't speak for a year. When they run into each other by accident, what spills out is raw, unguarded, and impossible to look away from. CRUSH is a painfully honest portrait of how trauma shapes desire, love, and the terrifying vulnerability of trying to connect, developed over three years, awarded the Tisch School of the Arts Collaborative Grant, and introducted through two successful staged readings at TheaterLab NYC.

Written and directed by Christopher Paul Richards, CRUSH is performed by an entirely Gen Z cast and creative team. It stars Chloe Margot, Dylan Pitanza, and Malina Weissman.
