Baby Foot


It’s Blackie's first night in rehab trying to kick heroin, and it's the last night for Alexis after 90 days of treatment. Girl, Interrupted meets Before Sunrise, BABY FOOT is a long night's journey into day for two lonely, heartbroken junkies in that liminal space between hope and despair, doing everything they can to stay alive.

Hope Lauren

Alexis
Hope (she/her) is an actor, writer and musician. Earlier this year, she had her SXSW debut, also starring alongside Daniel Dorr in the feature drama Pure O. She is best known for her work as Corinne in CW’s The Republic of Sarah, BizarroGirl in CW’s Supergirl and Ophelia in MTV’s Awkward. You can also see her as Emma in Morgan Dameron’s feature film Different Flowers, and as Autumn in the upcoming feature-film Bar Fight. Hope’s Los Angeles stage credits include Catherine in David Auburn’s Proof, Margaret in Don Nigro’s Armitage, Thea in Over The Moon’s production of Spring Awakening and recently produced and starred in Smoke by Kim Davies.


Daniel Dorr

Blackie
Daniel (he/him) A proud graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He recently starred in Pure O, a film about a man struggling with a crippling form of OCD, which premiered to rave reviews at this year's SXSW Film Festival in the Narrative Feature Competition. The film also features Hope Lauren, so there is a trend here. Prior to that he hammed it up opposite Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter as Mozart in Bill & Ted: Face the Music. Select TV/Film work includes: IFC Films’ Bar Fight! with Rachel Bloom and Melissa Fumero, Starz’s Counterpart, Crackle’s StartUp, A24’s 20th Century Woman with Greta Gerwig, and Columbia/Sony Pictures’ Fury with Brad Pitt. On stage, he appeared in the West Coast Premiere of Finks opposite French Stewart (Rogue Machine Theatre) Viral by Mac Rogers (Bootleg Theater) Romeo & Juliet(Hollywood Fringe), As You Like it, The Crucible, Macbeth with the Antaeus Theater Company and Off-Broadway in Murray Mednick’s Mayakovsky & Stalin at the Cherry Lane Theatre.


PAUL DEBOY

Fred
Paul (he/him) has been a professional actor for over forty years. Selected TV and Film credits include: American Sports Story: Gladiator; White House Plumbers; The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel; The Good Fight; FBI: Most Wanted; Displaced; and Hunters as well as several of the Law & Order series. On stage Paul played Harry Bright for the Broadway production of Mamma Mia! as well as the National Tour, Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady for The Pioneer Theatre, Pastor Paul in The Christians for Portland Center Stage and appearances at Westport Country Playhouse, Second Stage, Theatre at St. Clements, Baltimore Center Stage, Denver Center, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse, St. Louis Repertory Theatre and many many more. Paul lives in New York City with his life partner Dawn and their two cats.

Tim is a writer/director/actor/producer. DIRECTING: Romeo and Juliet - Hollywood Fringe Festival; Mouse in a Jar & Petty Harbor by Martyna Majok - The Road Theatre (Staged Readings); Brooklyn, Maybe (short film, writer/director). Kyra Bowie

Stage Manager
Kyra (KEY-ruh) Bowie (BOW-ee) is a proud AEA theatre-maker with formal training from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Broadway Dance Center, and The Atlantic Acting School. Certified Intimacy Captain by Intimacy Coordinators of Color. Recent developmental works include Once Bitten (composed by Matt Gumley and starring Orfeh), How To Repair A Mechanical Heart (composed by Trent Jeffords, starring Troy Iwata and Chris Medlin), as well as digital reading series at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Conch Shell Productions, and Planet Connections. Production Stage Manager for the Off-Broadway production of Camp Morning Wood: A Very Naked Musical, Still, Birth. performed at The Chain, and the Assistant Stage Manager to Suzi Bonnot for Arlington at The New School of Drama. Favorite acting credits include the title role in an all-female Julius Caesar directed by Danya Taymor, Bessie Berger in Awake & Sing! directed by Paul Schnee, and productions of Cabaret and Spamalot.

Leanna Keyes

Lighting & Sound
Leanna Keyes is a playwright & producer based in Brooklyn, NY. She's does everything in theater other than dance, because no one wants to see that. Her most well-known play is the post Roe v. Wade abortion romance family drama Doctor Voynich and Her Children, which you can find in The Methuen Drama Book of Trans Plays. As a producer, she is known as the co-founder of Transcend Streaming, a bespoke fully live digital production company. Transcend's work has been featured in the New York Times. As theater increasingly returns to in-person performance, she has been heavily involved in streaming hybrid theater and events, archival recordings (especially of developmental work), and in-person technical theater. She was a Playwright in Residence at Crosstown Arts in Memphis during spring 2019. Valiant Theatre commissioned her in 2020, which resulted the premiere of Love Serving Love at their annual new works festival in January. In Chicago, her short play You’re My Person premiered at the Violet Surprise Femmeslash Festival at Otherworld Theatre Company in August 2019. Her play Legal-Tender Loving Care was produced by Fuse Theatre in California in June 2019. In 2018, her play Doctor Voynich and Her Children received collegiate productions at Rhodes College and at Stanford University. Previously produced plays including God Herself Could Not Sink This Ship in 2014 and The Kilogram Play in 2013. She also co-wrote The Real World: Stanford with Olivia Haas, which was produced annually from 2015 to 2017. Her plays have been studied at universities around the country, including Stanford University, Carnegie Mellon, Rhodes College, Ohio University, Linfield University, the University of Kansas, and Western Carolina University. In 2017, her work was featured at Carnegie Mellon in the curriculum of “American Women Playwrights of the 20th and 21st Centuries.”​
