CALIGULA is directed by and stars Rafael De Mussa in the title role, this production of CALIGULA is set in an unspecified country during the 20th century, where the charismatic leader Caligula is given absolute freedom to challenge social convention in pursuit of personal obsession. Following the death of his beloved sister, Emperor Caligula deserts his people and honored position for three days and three nights. He returns with a single objective: to understand the meaning of life.

Performances of CALIGULA run December 4-30 at Theatre Row's Kirk Theatre (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues): Thursdays-Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm; with additional 8pm performances on Mondays, December 22 and 29, and Tuesdays, December 23 and 30; and the following exceptions: no performances December 25-28.
